The Library is now mediating all film requests instead of the previous patron driven acquisition (PDA) model in which the 4th play of a film triggered the immediate purchase of a license. If the Library has not purchased a license for a title, you will see a request form display in Kanopy when you try to play the film. THE LIBRARY IS UNABLE TO GRANT ADDITIONAL KANOPY LICENSES UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. All films in Kanopy are leased for one year. When the expiration date approaches, films will be reevaluated for renewal based on usage and whether the content is still relevant to the course.
