Information about how to access reading, entertainment, and research materials such as online periodicals, books, DVD movies, and full-text eBooks about your home country.

Access to Library Databases

1.  Visit the Library homepage, wilmu.edu/library.

2.  Type a search into the DISCOVERY search box or click on Find Articles and More.

3.  Once a resource is chosen, you will be prompted to log in using your myWilmU credentials

4.  After logging in, users will be sent directly into the database with full access to content.

Accessing Wilmington University Library Resources at Dover

The Dover site library and computer lab area is located in the Learning Commons Building A. Please check here for hours. Questions regarding the Learning Commons? You may call 302-342-8620 or email at dvlearningcommons@wilmu.edu

Library Card- Your Student ID serves as your Library card. All IDs will have the student ID number printed on the back of the ID card along with a barcode. You can have a Student ID made at the Student Services Desk in Building A. Please call 302-734-2594 for hours.

Material Delivery– Although many library resources are accessible electronically, enrolled students and WU Faculty residing outside New Castle County, Delaware can have materials mailed to their home by calling 1-800-451-5724.

Delaware Library Catalog materials placed on hold can be picked up at the Wilmington University New Castle library or at the Dover Public Library.

ILLiad (Interlibrary Loan)- Materials not owned by the University or unavailable electronically can be obtained through ILLiad, our Interlibrary Loan system. Requests can be made online using ILLiad.
