A curriculum map:

  • Is a grid for subject-specific information literacy instruction
  • Includes a scope and sequence of skills
  • Can be customized to the needs of a particular department or major

  • Courses offered
  • Rubric level (novice, developing, proficient, accomplished)
  • IL concepts and skills
  • Progression (basic skills in novice-level course, advanced skills in an accomplished course)
