What is a Curriculum Map?
A curriculum map:
- Is a grid for subject-specific information literacy instruction
- Includes a scope and sequence of skills
- Can be customized to the needs of a particular department or major
Components of a Curriculum Map
- Courses offered
- Rubric level (novice, developing, proficient, accomplished)
- IL concepts and skills
- Progression (basic skills in novice-level course, advanced skills in an accomplished course)
